Burna Boy has been trending on social media after his pictures with his clean shaved beard made rounds on the internet. Social media users are having a field day poking fun and trolling Burna Boy for how different he looks when he had his beard shaved. They made comparisons which pictures of him with a beard.

Some netizens even opined that a beard is just like make-up as such it enhances men’s handsomeness.

Burna Boy Hits Back at Trolls and Media Outlets in Instagram Rant over Shaved Beard Pictures

Taking to his Instagram Stories, Burna Boy who was not amused by the jokes and all the trolling he has been receiving put them on a blast. He referred to the people who have been making fun and blogs that have been circulating his pictures with no beard as “weirdos.”

Burna Boy went on to set the record straight revealing that the picture that is circulating is not current but old. He disclosed that he shaved his beard in 2021.

“To all you weirdos who depend on @theshaderoom @theshadeborough And other weirdo blogs for your daily news. I shaved my beard in 2021 NOT now.”

Frustrated Burna Boy Highlights Media’s Focus on Gossip Instead of Musical Achievements

He bemoaned how people only care about his beard and gossip about who he is in a relationship with, instead of talking about all the great achievements and the history he has made in the music industry.

“But it’s good to know that for all the history I’ve been making and records I’ve been setting and breaking, You PARASITES ONLY CARE ABOUT WHO I MIGHT HAVE F**ked, who I’m f**cking and stupid sh*t like “Burna boy shaved his beard”. I gotta apologise to Nigerian blogs now cuz I thought their stupidity was unique, I didn’t know they learned all they know from the West.”
