Controversial South African Pastor Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng has left Zimbabweans cracking with laughter after a video of him carrying a large cross on his back while walking in the streets went viral.

Pastor Mboro is facing charges that include kidnapping, possession of dangerous weapons, and assault. He was caught on camera, seemingly mimicking how Jesus carried his own cross before he was crucified.

Pastor Mboro Carries a Cross Through the Streets on His Way to Court

In footage that has since gone viral on social media, Pastor Mboro can be seen walking down the street with a large cross on his back

He was reportedly on his way to court.

His actions drew attention; spectators can be seen gathering around to watch him carry the cross.

Pastor Mboro Explains the Significance of Carrying the Cross

In an interview with TimesLive, Pastor Mboro explained that the cross represented both spiritual redemption and the strength to overcome life’s challenges following his recent arrest.

“We were far away from God, but He brought us closer through the blood of Jesus, through the cross. All injustices, all diseases were on Him on the cross,” he said.

Pastor Mboro also discussed an incident involving his son, Revival, who was reportedly attacked by 11 individuals. The suspects have been arrested and will face charges of common assault and intimidation.

He emphasized that he is going to conquer through the cross.

“The people who broke my cars are now coming out, assaulting my son, smashing his face, leaving bruises. There was no justice for more than a 100 days but God showed up. Today it’s just the beginning, I will conquer through the cross.

Even if I face this war alone against ten, a hundred or a million people, I will conquer it,” he said
