Controversial Mzansi rapper, Shebeshxt became a victim of a death hoax after Skhothane Sa Pitori announced to event attendees that the rap sensation had died in a car accident he was involved in.
After a video of his announcement resurfaced on social media Skhothane Sa Pitori issued an apology and wished Shebeshxt a speedy recovery.
“I’d like to ask for forgiveness, there was a misunderstanding at a gig that took place yesterday. Please forgive me. Shebeshxt is still alive, he is not dead. Social media sometimes confuses people. Speedy recovery my friend. South Africa still loves you,” he said.

Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Chauke, was involved in a horrific car accident on his way to a gig on Saturday evening.
Videos of the badly injured and wailing controversial Limpopo star being attended to by paramedics, as well as his smashed up one-month-old new Volkswagen Polo GTI, have flooded social media.
