Kaizer Chiefs have seven players whose deals end this season. Only five months remain before those contracts expire.
Therefore, the club may not keep every player. Amakhosi must review performance, squad balance, and future plans.
Players Nearing the End of Their Deals
The contracts ending include Brandon Petersen and Gaston Sirino. They also include Bruce Bvuma and Dillan Solomons.
Sibongiseni Mthethwa and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo are also listed. Pule Mmodi completes the group of seven players.
Club Source Downplays Urgency
However, an insider claims the club feels no pressure. He suggests there is little interest from other clubs. He also points to salary demands as a major obstacle.
“No one is signing those guys. That’s why even now, we are in no hurry. We are not scared to lose anyone. It’s small teams that have to do that. No one can even afford those salaries. There’s no worry. That stuff can be sorted out. The club also has to decide at the end of the season if we need all of them,” the informer revealed to the publication.
