“I Want Your Heart to Burn”: Viral Video Shows Tino Machakaire’s Former Partner Performing Strange Ritual

In a bizarre incident, a man claiming to be a former business partner of Minister of Youth Empowerment, Development, and Vocational Training, Tino Machakaire, was captured on camera performing a ritual while holding a picture of the minister.

Mysterious Ritual Targets Minister Tino Machakaire

The video shows the man kneeling on a white cloth at what appears to be a prophet or Madzibaba’s shrine in an unknown forest. The man repeatedly calls out Machakaire’s name in a ritual that blends traditional and religious elements. Although he doesn’t disclose the nature of their past business dealings, he wants Machakaire to reach out to him again to rekindle their partnership.

“Tinoda Machakaire. Tinoda Machakaire. Tinoda Machakaire. Sekunditsvaga kwamakaita pekutanga tikaita zvese zvatakaita pekutanga ndoda kuti unditsvage tidzoke titange kushanda tose pamwechete sematangiro atakaita,” the man chants.

Man Wants Minister to “Burn” with Desire to Reconnect

The man goes on to state that he wants Machakaire’s heart to “burn” just as the photograph he is holding until the minister reaches out to him.

“Saka pachatsva bepa iri ndoda kuti nemoyo wako utsve ipapo udzoke kwaqndiri unditsvage sepakutanga,” the man finishes and proceeds to burn the photograph of the minister which is printed on bond paper.

Public Reactions on Social Media

After the video was shared on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter) by Dandaro Online, Zimbabweans had mixed reactions. While some doubted the authenticity of the video, others confirmed that the man in the video had helped Tinoda Machakaire win the Wedza South Parliamentary seat in the 2023 elections.
