President Cyril Ramaphosa will lead the South African delegation to the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly Debate and High-Level Week in New York, USA, from next week. President Ramaphosa is expected to address the General Assembly on the opening day next week on Tuesday.
The annual gathering of world leaders is the most key event on the UN calendar. It affords leaders an opportunity to discuss global challenges like sustainable development goals, climate change and world peace.
