EFF FS opens criminal case against Mafube officials

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in the Free State has opened a criminal case against some officials in the Mafube municipality, for allegedly redirecting money deducted from workers for third party purposes for their selfish ends.

Workers in the municipality have previous raised concern over medical aid and pension funds that were deducted from their salaries but the benefits not being available. The party has described this as unscrupulous acts that should be prosecuted.

EFF provincial secretary, Bosanku Msimanga says the party will go to all areas where similar incidents have been reported to defend the rights of the workers.
