Wicknell Chivayo Gifts Advocate Lewis Uriri a US$250 000 Range Rover and US$50 000 Cash
Wicknell Chivayo has gifted prominent lawyer Advocate Lewis Uriri SC a brand-new 2026 Range Rover Sport Autobiography valued at US$250,000, along with US$50,000 in fuel money.
Chivayo also announced an additional US$50,000 handbag allowance for Uriri’s wife, who is also a senior lawyer.

Chivayo Praises Uriri’s Legal Work
Making the announcement on his X account, Chivayo praised Uriri for his dedication, legal expertise and commitment to defending him over the years.
He described Uriri as a “LAWYER PAR EXCELLENCE” and said the senior counsel had represented him with courage, professionalism and determination.
Chivayo also credited Uriri with continuing to fight his cases even after setbacks, including taking matters on appeal.
“I cannot remember a single matter where you represented me that was ultimately lost — even where we suffered a setback, YOU FOUGHT ON, TOOK IT ON APPEAL AND WON,” Chivayo wrote.
He said Uriri’s ability to apply the law, defend his clients and remain firm under pressure had earned his recognition.
US$250,000 Range Rover Gift
As part of his appreciation, Chivayo instructed Uriri to visit Victor on Wednesday to collect the luxury vehicle.
“GO AND SEE VICTOR on Wednesday and collect your BRAND-NEW 2026 RANGE ROVER SPORT AUTOBIOGRAPHY, valued at US$250,000, fully paid for and ready for your collection,” he said.
According to Chivayo, Uriri will also receive US$50,000 in cash for fuel.
Uriri’s Wife Gets US$50,000
Chivayo extended the gesture to Uriri’s wife, asking the lawyer to bring her along when collecting the vehicle.
He said she would receive another US$50,000 as a handbag allowance.
Chivayo, who joked about the possibility that some of his legal documents had been prepared with her input, described her as a “SENIOR and COMPETENT lawyer.”
Chivayo Calls It A Thank You
Chivayo said the gifts were his way of thanking Uriri for the work he had done for him over the years.
He urged the lawyer to continue defending his clients with distinction and making his mark in the legal profession.
“Continue defending your clients with distinction, continue making your mark in the legal profession and continue demonstrating why the title SENIOR COUNSEL sits so comfortably on your shoulders,” Chivayo wrote.
