Highlanders FC CEO Sihlangu Dlodlo Reportedly Found Dead in Bulawayo Residence

Reports have surfaced indicating that Sihlangu Dlodlo, the Chief Executive Officer of Highlanders FC, was found dead at his home in Bulawayo.

Although an official confirmation is yet to be released by the Highlanders FC organization, sources suggest that authorities have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Dlodlo’s untimely death.

The football executive is 60 years old at the time of his death. With law enforcement at the scene, the exact cause of Dlodlo’s passing remains unknown, leaving questions and speculation in its wake.

A friend shared with the public that Dlodlo’s body was found after they broke open into his Nketa 9 house. Sihlangu had not been heard from since Saturday, when his friends and family grew worried.

Allan ‘Ripper’ Mpofushared with The Chronicle that they believe Sihlangu died over the weekend alone at his place.

Appointed as CEO earlier this year, Dlodlo had already significantly impacted the organization and had been seen as a central figure in Zimbabwean football.

Dlodlo joined Highlanders in April this year after stints with Innscor and Lobels as a marketing executive and general manager of Kings and Queens Funeral Services. He was renowned for his managerial skills in the country.
