The suspect, identified as 38-year-old Givus Tapiwa Musindo, reportedly attacked his friend, Godfrey Mushore, during a heated dispute at a local shebeen in Eskbank, Mazowe. Armed with a shock absorber, Musindo inflicted severe injuries on Mushore.Following the altercation, concerned individuals hired a vehicle to transport Mushore to Concession Hospital for emergency treatment. However, they insisted that Musindo accompany them to the hospital, likely due to the severity of the incident.

A Dramatic Escape

Upon arrival at the hospital, medical personnel confirmed the worst—Mushore had succumbed to his injuries. This revelation prompted Musindo to flee the scene desperately to avoid arrest. Witnesses described the atmosphere as tense and chaotic, with bystanders shocked at the unfolding events.

The crowd eventually agreed to hand Musindo over to law enforcement authorities. He was escorted to the Concession Police Station, where he was officially detained and is now expected to face charges related to the incident.
