‘Kuramba Kurambwa’: Bulawayo Man Stabs Ex-Girlfriend After She Breaks Up with Him
A 29-year-old man from Cowdray Park, Bulawayo, has been charged with physical abuse after stabbing his ex-girlfriend in a fit of rage.
Brian Maseko was arrested after he stabbed his ex-girlfriend, Flora Moyo, 42, with a knife after she broke up with him.
He was angered when he found out that his much older girlfriend was ending their relationship. In a fit of rage, he physically assaulted her before stabbing her.
Assault and Stabbing Incident
The incident reportedly took place on September 27, 2024, around 3:30 pm. Maseko reportedly punched Flora Moyo multiple times in the back after she dumped him. She reportedly told him that their relationship had ended three months prior.
After the physical assault, Maseko is said to have pushed Moyo to the ground, drawn an Okapi knife from his pocket, and stabbed her once in the right leg.

Victim Reports to Authorities
Moyo managed to report the incident to the police, leading to Maseko’s subsequent arrest.
Brian Maseko, appeared before magistrate Vikayi Douglas Chikwekwe at the Western Commonage Magistrates’ Court facing physical abuse charges.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge and was remanded until November 14, 2024, for the continuation of his trial.
