Dumiso Mpofu, a 24-year-old care home employee from Zimbabwe, has been found guilty of indecent exposure in the UK. The incident occurred when a female dog walker stumbled upon Mpofu engaging in an explicit act while seated in his parked car during a lunch break. Mpofu was arrested at his workplace shortly after and initially denied the allegations.
Despite pleading not guilty to exposure, the case went to trial, and the dog walker provided testimony against Mpofu, leading to his conviction. Mpofu’s defense argued that his actions were impulsive and not premeditated. According to his lawyer, Wayne Hardy, Mpofu became aroused during a video call with his girlfriend in Zimbabwe and acted on impulse.
