In a strange and comical incident, two mischievous goats were arrested after causing a ruckus in an American city.

Police in Kent, Washington, had to round up two escaped goats that went wandering through a city and chased pedestrians.

Two Goats Arrested for Chasing People in Kent

The Kent Police Department took to social media to announce the unusual arrests, sharing that the runaway goats had been spotted in the northern part of the city and promptly “detained for baaaaaadddd behavior.”

The goats, whose origins remain a mystery, decided to spice up their escape by targeting passersby. The police humorously detailed the encounter:

“We are not sure where they came from, but the two of them got in into their heads that chasing people would be a good time,” the post said. “Don’t goat us wrong, they are very cute. But no kidding around, it’s not OK for people or goats to chase others.”

Police Search For Goats’ Owner

The department joked that when interrogated about their antics, one of the goats reportedly bleated

“When asked why they were being so aggressive, one of them bleated that he was just ‘feeling a bit baaaaa-d today.’”

Despite their “nefarious acts,” the goats weren’t officially booked. Instead, officers ensured they received a “comfy ride” to the King County Animal Shelter as police officers continued their search for their owner.
