Kademaunga appeared alongside Clayd Mashozhera, a Councilor from Harare City Council’s Ward 10, as well as Noel Munhuwei and Daudi Jessub.
The four collectively pleaded not guilty to charges, which included attempted murder and malicious damage to property.
Details of the Incident
According to court records, the incident took place on August 22 2023. The complainants, identified as Cyril Nyauchi, Artwell Marwa, and Spencer Mudarikwa, were engaged in distributing food to ZANU PF election agents at various polling stations within Sunningdale. They were travelling in a Toyota Spacio.
Upon reaching the Metro Peach Main Entrance, situated at the intersection of Seke Road and Boshoff Road in Sunningdale 1, Harare, the quartet and ten other individuals obstructed their passage. The group arrived in a convoy consisting of a white Toyota Noah, a pearl Toyota Mark X, a white commuter omnibus, a Honda Fit, and two additional vehicles, the registration numbers of which were not documented.
