The Zimbabwe Liberation War Victims Association (ZLWVA), comprising over 25,000 brave combatants, ex-detainees and individuals living with disabilities, is appealing for urgent transportation support. This vital assistance will empower members, foster independence and enhance overall well-being.

The Struggle Continues

Despite government support from the Ministry of War Veterans Affairs, reliable transportation remains a critical gap. Essential medical assistance, clothing allowances and self-sustainability initiatives are hindered by inadequate transportation options.

By providing access to medical care, rehabilitation services, and vital resources, we can improve their overall health and well-being. Moreover, transportation will enable our members to pursue skills development, entrepreneurship, and economic empowerment, breaking the cycle of poverty and marginalization. Our members will also have enhanced opportunities to participate in disability expos, showcasing their capabilities and challenging societal stereotypes. Ultimately, transportation will strengthen community bonds, reducing isolation and stigma associated with disabilities.
