Alleged KPMG bursary fund fraudster in court

A former KMPG bursary specialist will apply for bail.

Fidelis Moema has been charged with defrauding the firm of over R16-million.

He’s accused of siphoning funds meant for university students between 2021 and 2022.

He allegedly paid money into the bank accounts of his friends instead of paying fees on behalf of students.

Police say the money would then be deposited into his bank account.

Moema faces charges of theft, fraud, and money laundering.
