18 Mutero High School Students Injured After Being Involved in A Road Accident

In a tragic development, several students from Mutero High School have been involved in an road accident on their way to school today.

No Fatalities Reported: 18 Students Injured as Bus Overturns on Harare-Masvingo Road

18 students from Mutero High School were injured after a commuter omnibus they were travelling in overturned along Harare-Masvingo Road at Munyathi.

Fortunately, no fatalities have been recorded so far.

Mash East Police Spokesperson Simon Chazovachii has since confirmed the incident to Masvingo Mirror. He revealed that the injured students have since been taken to Chivhu Hospital.

Social Media Outcry: Video of Injured Students Sparks Calls for Improved Emergency Services

A video showing the injured students lying on the side of the road waiting to be transferred to hospital has since emerged on social media. The video also shows wreckages vehicle which is now in bad state.

The shocking video footage has touched many hearts. Reacting to video, social media users expressed gratitude that all the students survived the incident. They wished all the injured students a speedy recovery.

However, some social media users bemoaned there were no emergency medical services in sight.
