Former Citizens Coalition for Change MPs Prince Dubeko Sibanda and Pashor Sibanda are lucky to be alive after a nasty accident last night.
Pashor Sibanda and Prince Dubeko Sibanda Involved In An Accident
Pashor and Prince Dubeko were driving from Mashonaland East at night when they got into the crash. When they were a few kilometres from Bulawayo, where they stay, a donkey emerged suddenly on the road, and they knocked it before losing control of their truck.
Their vehicle then smashed into another Honda Fit at the spot. The two are, however, safe following the crash.
Opposition politician Promise Mkwananzi confirmed the news on his X account last night:
“Prince Dubeko Sibanda and Pashor Sibanda [were] involved in an accident a few kilometres from Bulawayo, but they’re safe. They hit a donkey and collided with a Honda Fit, but they are safe. They were coming from a program in Mashonaland East. We thank God for their protection and safety!”
Pictures circulating on social media from the crash show the Honda Fit badly battered and dented on the driver’s side, where it was possibly knocked. The donkey was also lying dead on the side of the road after being smashed by Pashor and Prince Dubeko’s truck.
This is not the first time Pashor Sibanda, the former Cowdray Park legislator, has been involved in an accident. Barely days after the August 2023 elections, in September, he got into another car accident and survived it.

People online shared mixed sentiments about Pashor Sibanda and Prince Dubeko Sibanda surviving a car accident.
Ndues:
“No foul play, guys. Night driving is like this. Now they owe someone a donkey.”

“Praying for their divine protection!! These are two individuals whose love for Zimbabwe is unquestionable. Very sad.”
Tichatonga:
“Avoid night driving. Consider flying, especially Hre-Byo. Understand, there could be other business in between, Gweru, Kwekwe, etc; in that case, it’s advisable to travel during the day and not make their itinerary public. It’s also good to check suspicious vehicles behind.”
Taku:
“Ko nyama yaitwa sei iyo asking for a friend.”
