Outrage After 22-Year-Old Woman Stabs Her Boyfriend (31) to Death

A 22-year-old woman from Kremetart in Giyani, Limpopo, has been arrested for murdering her boyfriend in Midrand.

The victim, 31-year-old Xichavo Ntsanwisi, an employee of the Greater Giyani Municipality, was found dead at Colnbrook Estate in Noordwyk.

Body Found in Kitchen

According to police, Ntsanwisi was discovered lying on the kitchen floor with a fatal stab wound to the upper chest near the neck.

A knife with a yellow handle was found beside his body. Paramedics from Netcare Ambulance declared him dead at the scene.

Suspect Confessed on the Spot

The suspect, identified as Jo-Ann Ntokoto Mabasa, was found at the scene and admitted to stabbing her boyfriend.

Police confirmed she was arrested without resistance, and the knife believed to have been used in the attack was recovered.

Shocking Social Media Post Resurfaces

In a disturbing twist, it has emerged that in May 2025, Mabasa had jokingly posted a video on social media threatening to kill her boyfriend.

This revelation has intensified public shock, with many questioning whether the warning signs were overlooked.
