Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo has sparked outrage on social with his taunting post.

Wicknell Chivayo is currently under investigation for alleged money laundering and abuse of office, stemming from a contractual dispute with his alleged business associates, Mike Chimombe and Moses Mpofu, over the supply of election materials to the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC).

In leaked audio recordings, Chivayo is said to have boasted about his close relationship with President Mnangagwa, claiming that he has “captured the system” and is now the president’s “blue-eyed boy,” benefitting from lucrative contracts despite the standard competitive tender process.

Taking to Instagram, Wicknell Chivayo posted a picture of himself at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport. He was all cozied up in a first class Emirates plane.

Captioning the post, he wrote;

“Main Actor Haafe….💰🤑🌏️️️” which loosely translates to (Main actor doesn’t die.)

On his Instagram stories he posted a couple more pictures, flexxing in the plane with his designer shoes, pricey Rolex watch and bags.

Fury over Wicknell Chivayo’s Post

Wicknell Chivayo post has caught many social media users attention. Netizens lambasted Wicknell Chivayo for flexxing and boasting on social media.

Responding to his taunting post, netizens argued that it was only a matter of time, soon he is going to be answering for his crimes. Netizens emphasized that this was not a movie.
