President Mnangagwa has dismissed Deputy Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Simelisizwe Sibanda, with immediate effect.
The decision was announced by Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Martin Rushwaya, although the reasons were not disclosed.
However, Sibanda was recently embroiled in a controversy after a video surfaced showing him hurling tribal insults at a Shona teacher in Matabeleland North, telling the educator to return to Mashonaland..
