Video of Man Tricking a Taxi Driver Out of a Parking Spot in Harare CBD Sparks Outrage
Meanwhile, a video showing a man tricking a taxi driver out of his parking spot has sparked outrage on social media.
The yet-to-be-identified man recorded himself as he executed the scheme in Harare’s Central Business District. After failing to find an open parking spot, he devised a devious plan to trick a taxi driver who was parked in a bay.
The man noted the phone number written on the back of the taxi and called the driver, pretending to request a ride. He instructed the driver to pick him up from another street. As soon as the taxi driver drove off, the man quickly parked his car in the now-vacant spot.
