In an exciting initiative, the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has partnered with FIFA to distribute football equipment to schools across the country. This week, the focus is on Mashonaland East province, where vibrant communities in Murehwa, Mutoko, Mutawatawa, Mudzi, Marondera, Goromonzi, Hwedza, Seke, and Chikomba will receive vital football gear.
The ambitious program aims to reach at least 100 schools in each province, totaling 1000 schools nationwide, with a special focus on marginalized areas. The initiative not only provides essential equipment but also empowers schools that participated in the CAF D licence program and FIFA Football for Schools master trainers’ courses.
Through this extensive outreach, ZIFA and FIFA aspire to cultivate a culture of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and personal development among Zimbabwe’s youth. By providing the tools and resources needed, they aim to inspire a love for the beautiful game and promote a healthy, active lifestyle among young Zimbabweans.
