Jamie Foxx Injured at a Restaurant in Beverly Hills While Celebrating His 57th Birthday

American actor Jamie Foxx was injured during his 57th birthday celebration after someone at another table struck him in the face with a glass.

The altercation reportedly occurred on Friday night at Mr Chow’s, leaving Foxx injured and requiring stitches.

Glass Thrown During Celebration

According to Foxx’s representative, someone at another table threw a glass, which hit the actor in the mouth.

Due to the severity of his injuries, he got stitches.

“He had to get stitches and is recovering,” the representative confirmed.

The incident has since been handed over to law enforcement for further investigation.

According to SkyNews, the Beverly Hills Police Department (BHPD) received a call shortly after 10 pm about a “possible assault with a deadly weapon” at the restaurant.

However, officers determined that the event involved a “physical altercation between parties” rather than a deadly assault.

Police Investigation Underway

The BHPD conducted a preliminary investigation and filed a report documenting the incident as a battery. Despite the commotion, no arrests have been made at this stage. Authorities continue to investigate the matter, and further details may emerge.

A Difficult Year for Jamie Foxx

This incident comes after Foxx’s challenging year, during which he faced a major health scare. In April 2023, Foxx suffered a brain bleed that led to a stroke, leaving him hospitalized in Atlanta, Georgia. He later revealed in his Netflix special Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was… that the medical emergency caused memory loss, leaving him unable to recall a 20-day period between April and May.

The actor, who has since been on the path to recovery, shared his gratitude for surviving the ordeal and returning to work.
