Holy Ten, the Zimbabwean hip-hop artist known for his bold statements and controversies, found himself at the centre of attention once again. This time, it was after a dramatic fall off the stage at the City Cup Clash last night. Eyewitnesses say he appeared to be “very drunk” during his surprise appearance, leading to the unfortunate incident.

“Kutanda Botso”

Social media lit up with reactions, with many Zimbabweans seizing the moment to express their thoughts. A Twitter user, Potbelly Mandalorian, simply wrote, “Kutanda botso,” reflecting the sentiment of many who believe Holy Ten’s actions are catching up with him.

Another user, Munyaradzi Muchechete, took a swipe at the rapper’s past ambitions, posting, “Ndiye hre munhu aiti anoda kupedza Winky zvaatoriye atopera,” suggesting that Holy Ten’s rivalry with Winky D might be backfiring.

“Needs a Good Manager”

Critics did not hold back. Mai Vigilance, another social media user, commented, “Holy ten needs a good manager who will ground him. Apart from that, he has to put in the work to become a better character.”

Vision_Zw added, “Haabatsirike uyo. Imagine having more than 5 managers in a space of 2 years ane pride yakawandisa,” pointing out the instability in Holy Ten’s career management.

Fans also expressed disappointment in his live performance. Joseph Shelika Dzitiro criticised the rapper harshly, saying, “This is nonsense and low level from Holy. He really needs someone to stand up straight to him and advise him properly.”

Yvonne Casten found humour in the situation, referencing DJ Fantan’s comment after the fall, “‘Uriku assumer’… from Fantan after the fall was the icing on the cake.”
