Police are investigating a case of murder following the discovery of an elderly woman’s body in Mitchells Plain.
The deceased was found on her bedroom floor in Tafelsig, on Saturday afternoon.
The motive for the killing is not yet known.
“Mitchells Plain police registered a murder case for investigation after the body of a 87-year-old female was found inside her house in Steenbokberg Street, Tafelsig, Mitchells Plain. The suspects are yet to be arrested,” said police spokesperson Wesley Twigg.
