The Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) are dealing with protest action on the N12 bordering Eldorado Park and Lenasia.
Authorities say the situation is tense at Nana’s Farm, where residents took to the streets from the early hours of Monday morning.
It’s understood the protest is related to service delivery issues.
Motorists have been urged to avoid the N12 in Lenasia South.
