Mai Sasha, who recently garnered widespread attention for allegedly confessing to using juju on her husband’s mistress, Chenai, has retracted her statements and denies her previous statement following intense social media criticism.
In a viral Facebook video, Mai Sasha denounced her supposed traditional healer, Gogo Moyo, labelling her as fraudulent. She accused Gogo Moyo of being ineffective and claimed her services were deceptive.
The Mai Sasha and Chenai Controversy
The controversy erupted when Chenai and her family approached Tete Tilder, alleging that Mai Sasha had used juju to cause Chenai’s abdominal swelling. Seeking to reverse the purported spell, they were asked to pay $200, which reportedly was never paid.

In a video statement, Mai Sasha initially admitted to using juju on Chenai as retribution for her affair with her husband, even threatening further harm.
Mai Sasha’s Retraction
After Chenai’s tragic passing and the ensuing public uproar, Mai Sasha backpedaled, suggesting that Chenai’s health issues might have stemmed from other causes. She asserted that the juju from Gogo Moyo had no real effect. She even made explosive allegations that the people she referred to the sangoma had been dupped of their hard-earned money. Mai Sasha narrates that when she went to the sangoma’s house, Gogo Moyo was avoiding many calls from people who were asking for reimbursements after her services did not work.
Additionally, Mai Sasha accused Gogo Moyo of instructing her on what to say, implying that Gogo Moyo was exploiting people under the guise of spiritual assistance. Many people have even supported Mai Sasha in the comment section calling the sangoma a fraudster and is duping many of their har earned money.
