Dexter Nduna Arrested for Fraud in Chegutu
ZANU PF’s head of mobilisation, Dexter Nduna, has once again found himself in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. This time, he has been arrested on fraud charges for allegedly collecting vehicle parking fees illegally from motorists in Chegutu.
Nduna appeared in Chegutu Magistrates Court on Saturday, with lawyer Unite Saizi of Saizi Law Chambers representing him. He was remanded in custody until Tuesday, when the court will decide on his bail application.

Why Dexter Nduna Was Arrested in Chegutu
The former Chegutu West legislator is accused of fraud, with Prosecutor Tafadzwa Vhore stating that Nduna falsely claimed his company, Team Chapter, was authorized to collect parking fees in the area.
“The accused person made a representation to cause…to act upon the misrepresentation to his prejudice by telling him false demands on behalf of Chegutu municipality claiming that he wanted cash for parking,” Vhore said.
Attempt to Hijack Parking Management
Team Chapter, a company linked to Nduna, has reportedly been attempting to take over parking management from local authorities nationwide. Recently, Nduna also misled unemployed youths, charging them various fees for supposed training and recruitment as parking marshals.
Apologies to Zanu-PF and President Mnangagwa
Last week, Nduna publicly apologised after both his party and the police warned him about his actions. He also issued a personal apology to President Emmerson Mnangagwa for appearing among law graduates at a University of Zimbabwe graduation ceremony, despite not yet completing his law degree.
