Father Accidentally Runs Over And Kills Son Working Underneath Car

A father experienced his worst nightmare after he accidentally ran over and kills son, who was working under a car in Ushewekunze.

The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is investigating a tragic road accident on 18th October 2024 near Landa Shops in Ushewekunze, a suburb of Harare. The unfortunate event led to the death of a 19-year-old male after a fatal accident involving a Toyota Coaster minibus with registration number ABS 2996. The victim’s own father was reportedly operating the vehicle at the time of the incident.

How The Fatal Accident Unfolded

According to reports, the vehicle had encountered a mechanical issue while on the road. In an attempt to resolve the problem, the young man allegedly went underneath the vehicle while the engine was still running. The father and son were

Efforts were made to rush the victim to Sally Mugabe Central Hospital, but despite these attempts, he succumbed to his injuries while on the way. The severity of the incident has left the family and the local community in shock as investigations by the ZRP continue into the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
