Former MP Dexter Nduna Accused of Faking His Graduation After Allegedly Failing Some of His Modules

Former Zanu PF Member of Parliament for Chegutu West, Dexter Nduna, has sparked controversy after being accused of faking his graduation.

Nduna graduated on Friday with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zimbabwe (UZ). However, his academic achievement has come under scrutiny following reports that he failed some of his modules.

Social Media User Accuses Dexter Nduna of Faking Graduation

This came to light after Dexter Nduna shared a picture of himself clad in a graduation gown. Captioning the picture he wrote;

“Congratulation to me today UZ law class of 2024.”

Commenting on Dexter Nduna’s post, a social media user identified only as @LEOTSINDA accused him faking his graduation.

@LEOTSINDA claimed that Nduna did not graduate with his classmates because he had failed most of his modules. He also suggested that the former legislator bought a gown and pretended to be graduating.

A list of graduates from Friday was shared, and Dexter Nduna’s name was reportedly not on the list for the Faculty of Law.

A screenshot of a letter allegedly from Dexter Nduna, demanding a review of all his failed modules, has also been shared on X. In the letter, Nduna requested a remark of his modules without political party bias.
