The Borrowdale dance is a Zimbabwean dance named after the Borrowdale Racecourse in Harare.It involves moves that resemble a horse race.

The dance, mostly rocked in the Sungura genre and is characterised by intricate footwork and body movements that imitate the style of racing horses.

Sungura maestro Alick Macheso popularised the intriguing dance and it has become a signature feature of his act, be it on stage or in music videos.

“That Zimbabwean dance, where they move their feet as if they are riding a bicycle, I love it…😂👌🏾” 

She hunted for the dance and found a video of two men dancing smoothly, much to her delight.
