Gospel musician Dorcas Moyo has firmly addressed swirling rumors about her engagement.
The songstress was alleged to have gotten engaged recently.

The speculation began after she posted a series of photos on Facebook that appeared to show her in the midst of a romantic proposal.
The images, which depict a man in a black suit and bow tie proposing to Moyo on one knee, sparked widespread excitement among fans. Moyo, dressed elegantly in a navy blue off-the-shoulder gown, was seen in various stages of the proposal, including one where she proudly displayed an engagement ring.
The post was accompanied by the caption, “Finally..,” leading many to believe she had just gotten engaged.
Netizens quickly concluded that she had just gotten engaged and flooded her comment section. Her followers and fans showered her with congratulatory messages and well wishes.
Dorcas Moyo Sets the Record Straight on Engagement Rumors
Dorcas Moyo has however decided to clear the air and set the record straight. She debunked the engagement rumors circulating on social media.
Speaking to The Herald, she revealed that the pictures she posted a from a scene in her upcoming video “Ndinako Kutenda”.
The video, set to be released this weekend, features Moyo playing the role of a bride, with Lampy from Diamond FM acting as her suitor.
In this video, l was acting as a maid who had found a life partner. Lampy from Diamond FM was acting as the one proposing to me,” she explained.
Posting on her Facebook, a teaser of her music video, Dorcas Moyo wrote;
“All i know is i love you mese🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣….iyeye newe nauyo…mese ndokudai….Stay tuned in a twinkle of an eye it will be out…Dont be left behind….Video loading!!!!.”
Maintaining Privacy
While Moyo has clarified the nature of the photos, she emphasized her preference for privacy regarding her personal life.
“I am one of the people who have gone through a lot, but I prefer some privacy on that matter. At the moment, I am concentrating on my musical career,” she added.
