Popular South African music produced Lebo M has reportedly moved on after his divorce from his fourth wife, Pretty Samuels.
The businessman – who also features on Disney’s Lion King prequel, Mufasa: The Lion King – recently shared a picture him with a woman’s feet on top of his lap with the caption: “Been a hard long fun tour in Spain to Portugal.”
Speaking to ZiMoja about the picture, Lebo M said it did not mean anything.
“I am single and currently enjoying my life.”
“There is nothing there, she is a colleague…Nothing there. If I was back in the dating game, I wouldn’t have a problem confirming phela, I’ve been ‘single’ since July 2023,” he added.
However, a source said that the woman in question is Lebo M’s ex-fiancée. The pair have reportedly rekindled their flame.
“They dated a few years ago and even got engaged but they broke up as Lebo was entertaining his ex-wife Angela. The woman could not take it and broke it off but there was never bad blood between them. The woman just wanted him to get over his ex,” the source said.
The Grammy award-winning music composer divorced his wife if 18 months, Pretty Samuels.
According to a statement by the producer in August last year, he claimed to have found muthi “tucked away” in Samuels’ closet.
Last month Sunday World reported that Samuels wanted Lebo M to support her financially. This, according to a source, is because he receives royalties from Disney for his music and productions on a monthly basis.
The sources also said that Samuels wanted a division of the estate, which includes a R5.5 million property in Pearls of Umhlanga as well as a R1.8 million property in Cedar Acres, Sandton. In addition, she demanded R2 million from him to cover her legal costs for their pending divorce.
Besides his illustrious music career, the reality TV star is also popular for his “multiple marriages”.
When he got married in 2022, it was reported that he had gotten married a seventh time. However, setting the record straight in an interview with MacG on Podcast and Chill in July 2022, he said that he has gotten married four times.
“I’ve been married three times, I just got remarried with my fourth wife, ” he said at the time.
Giving context on his marriages, the producer said that his first wife was American comedian Viveca Gipson – with whom he had two children.
“That was a very great marriage… about four and a half years or so, five years.”
His second wife was actress Nandi Ndlovu-Goodjohn.
“That’s my son, Tshepiso, Refilwe and my late son, Thembalethu’s mother… she took my money and married a gigolo,” he said.
In 2008, he met Angela Ngani-Casara who became his third wife eight months later. The pair were married for five and a half years and have a daughter together.
“I divorced her, then tried a relationship for the second time.
“We never got married [a second time]… And the third time was when the reality show happened, right before COVID. That is what is misquoted as we got married three times. We got married only once,” he explained.
In 2014, Lebo M met former Generations:The Legacy actress Zoe Mthiyane. They welcomed their baby, Lulu, in 2015 and got engaged that same year in December. But, their engagement only lasted five months.
The producer has also been engaged to Malefu Ntsala. He announced their engagement in 2019, however, they split the following year.
