“Influence For Change”: Passion Java Gives Winky D Advice To Help Poverty-Stricken Zimbabweans

Cleric Prophet Passion Java has shared advice with dancehall star Winky D on how to help struggling Zimbabweans.

Night Of Wonders With Prophet Passion Java

Java is hosting the Night Of Wonders on 9 May at the National Sports Stadium in Harare. The event builds on the Night of Wonders event held in February of this year at the City Sports Centre.

The February service was glitzy and attracted local stars like Jah Prayzah, who serenaded the congregants.

Speaking on the upcoming night, Prophet Java’s team said:

“Prepare for a night where the divine meets the earthly, where miracles are not just spoken of but are seen and felt.”

Interacting With The Public

Passion Java has been interacting with the media and engaging directly with the public. Over a week ago, he walked in the street and prayed for passengers in Night On Wonder-branded buses.

In one instance, he bumped into one such bus while on the road and had to stop the bus and invite people to his service before praying for them. While in Chitungwiza recently, Prophet Java encountered a family that asked him to pray for their brother, who had been in an accident. He went over to the modest house and listened to the accident victim before praying for him.

While walking around Chitungwiza one of these days, Java got first-hand experience of the struggles people are experiencing.

He narrated:

“People are struggling. I took a Ward yeku Chitungwiza uko. There were no water taps. There was no water. The toilet seats and tubs are broken, and there are no shower heads. The bathroom has a huge bucket with water for people to bath.”

He then sent an appeal to Winky D:

“That’s what I’ve been telling you: Winky D should not just sing about that. He should release a song inviting all mbingas to donate. Influence people for a change, not to incite people.”
