Jah Prayzah, Jah Signal and Enzo Ishall Concert Postponed for SADC Summit

The highly anticipated Summer Music Festival in Mutare, featuring renowned musicians Jah Signal, Jah Prayzah, and Enzo Ishall, has been postponed.

The festival organizers cited the upcoming Southern African Development Community (SADC) 44th Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government, scheduled to take place in Harare, Zimbabwe on August 17, 2024, as the reason for the postponement.

Originally slated for this Saturday, the Summer Music Festival will now take place on August 30th. While the date has changed, the venue remains the same. The organizers have assured attendees that all previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the new date. iHarare presents the full statement below:

“We would like to inform you on the postponement of the Summer Music Festival that was scheduled to take place on the 3rd of August, in Mutare. We understand that this may have caused you and other attendees a great deal of inconvenience.

The highly profiled event which was set for the 3rd of August, will now take place on the 30th of August. The postponement has been necessitated in respect of the 44th Ordinary S.A.D.C Summit of Heads of State and Government, set to take place in August in Harare.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please note that, all tickets purchased will remain valid for the new dates, and the venue remains unchanged: Gusheshe Leisure Center

Police Dismiss Rumors of Event Bans

Meanwhile, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has denied reports claiming the government has banned all public events ahead of the SADC summit. The police called these claims false and encouraged the public to ignore the misinformation, reminding everyone to adhere to national laws while participating in various activities.
