Prolific Zimbabwean winger Khama Billiat is weighing his options for the upcoming transfer window, with the possibility of joining a local club that recently secured a substantial R45.7 million sponsorship boost.

A Stellar Season with Yadah FC

After spending 2024 with Yadah FC, Billiat proved he still has plenty to offer at the age of 34. The stylish forward was instrumental for “The Miracle Boys,” contributing 24 goals—13 goals scored and 11 assists—throughout the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season.

Yadah FC finished 11th in the 18-team league, but Billiat’s performances set him apart. His efforts earned him a spot on the prestigious 2024 Soccer Stars list, making him the first Yadah player to achieve the feat. He was also the first runner-up for the Player of the Season award, narrowly losing out to Walter Musona.

According to FARPost sources, Billiat’s priority is to return to the Betway Premiership, where he hopes to continue playing at a high level. However, if no offers materialize in South Africa, he is open to joining Scottland FC, an ambitious Zimbabwean club preparing for its debut season in the Premier Soccer League.

Scottland FC Ready to Welcome Khama Billiat

Scottland FC, based in Harare, is leaving the door open for the former Mamelodi Sundowns star.

“They are ready to take him on board. But they also acknowledge his desire to go back and play in South Africa. But if it doesn’t work, they have left their door open for him to walk in,” a impeccable source told FARPost.

Scottland FC’s ambitions are fueled by a robust financial foundation. The club has received sponsorship deals worth R45.7 million from Sakunda Holdings and IMC Communications.
