Kwaito star Juelz shares good news with fans

Kwaito star Juelz, whose real name is Shahriar Chowdhury, is making his return to the music scene with a new studio album, which he plans to release at the end of October. The artist is eager to reintroduce himself to the industry and has been working on fresh collaborations with both upcoming and established South African artists.

Juelz is excited about this upcoming project and has shared some insight into the album’s production. “I have submitted it to be mastered for clear, good sound. I’ve collaborated with a few upcoming artists, and at the moment, I’m engaging with some top artists to do a remix on two of my songs on this album,” he said.

While he hasn’t revealed the full list of collaborators just yet, Juelz is clearly aiming to make a strong comeback with this album, and his strategy includes tapping into both fresh talent and established names in the South African music scene.

In the past, Juelz has worked with renowned artists like Emtee and Sjava, though the collaborations never saw an official release. It appears that with this new album, Juelz is making sure to get things right. The Kwaito singer is committed to delivering quality sound and a product that will resonate with his audience. His determination to succeed this time around highlights how much the album means to him personally and professionally.

Beyond music, Juelz has also shown a deep commitment to social causes, particularly those involving vulnerable groups. As he prepares for the release of his album, Juelz has planned to engage in charity work, visiting orphans and donating food parcels in the lead-up to his album launch.

His charitable efforts stem from a place of empathy and personal connection, as Juelz himself understands the struggles orphans face. “I can relate to what they’re going through as orphans,” he explained. His generosity won’t stop there, as he also plans to continue his charity work in December, donating Christmas gifts to children in need.

This humanitarian aspect of Juelz’s personality reveals his desire to give back to the community, using his platform and resources to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. By linking his music career with charitable endeavors, Juelz is hoping to create an impact that goes beyond the entertainment industry.

Juelz is also passionate about addressing challenges faced by artists in South Africa. In July, he voiced his support for the appointment of Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie as the sports, arts, and culture minister. McKenzie’s background in the entertainment industry, having co-owned the popular nightclub ZAR with businessman Kenny Kunene, has given Juelz faith in his leadership and ability to understand the unique struggles of artists.

“He sounds like a man of his word. He should assist in promoting upcoming artists to get money to survive. Otherwise, the music mafia will control this industry, and talent will run away from what they love,” Juelz said.

The singer believes that McKenzie’s experience within the entertainment world will translate into a more artist-friendly approach, particularly when it comes to supporting new talent and creating fair opportunities for all artists. “Gayton has tasted the entertainment scene when he used to co-own ZAR with Kenny Kunene. Both of them know the day-to-day struggles of being an artist in this country, so I have faith in him that we as artists won’t cry no more, our demands will be met,” Juelz added.

As Juelz prepares to release his new album, his fans can look forward to not only exciting new music but also a glimpse into the singer’s evolving journey as an artist and a humanitarian. Through his dedication to his craft, his charitable endeavors, and his advocacy for a fairer music industry, Juelz is showing that his return to the studio is about more than just music—it’s about making a meaningful difference.
