Linda Masarira to Stay Married to Ben 10 Husband Who Was Having Affair With Her Daughter?
Opposition politician Linda Masarira has given an update on the state of her marriage following her Ben 10 husband Bongani Mlotshwa’s conviction for beating her up.
The incident occurred when Masarira discovered Mlotshwa sleeping in her daughter’s bedroom.
He was found guilty when he appeared before the Epworth Magistrates’ Court. The court sentenced him to 15 months in prison, with 5 months suspended for 5 years. An additional 10 months were suspended on the condition that he complete 350 hours of community service.
In a statement shared on her verified X account, Masarira expressed gratitude to those who supported her during this challenging time. She disclosed that she has moved out of her house and is temporarily staying in a chalet while she considers her next steps. Hinting at a possible end to her marriage with Mlotshwa, Masarira stated:
“I have just settled into my chalet, which will be my new home for some days as I reflect and close certain chapters of my life for good.”
Despite this statement, Masarira’s responses to comments on her post suggested a different sentiment. When questioned about staying with her husband, especially considering allegations of an inappropriate relationship between him and her daughter, Masarira replied:
“My life, my decisions, and my space thank you.”
One @wezhira0 asked Masarira if she will stick to her husband through thick and thin saying, “Tsanangudzo yakareba muchidimbi matii muri mose nemukomana munhamo nemumatambudziko here Linda Tsungirirai Masarira” to which Masarira affirmed, “Chaizvo”.
It remains unclear from Masarira’s comments whether she was being sarcastic or misleading, given her initial indication of wanting to close certain chapters of her life for good.
