Longwe Twala’s bail application to be heard next week

The bail application of Longwe Twala is now expected to be heard on September 25 in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.

The case was postponed to allow his legal aid lawyer to prepare for the case. Longwe’s father, Chicco Twala, opened a theft case against both of his sons Sello and Longwe earlier this month at the Douglasdale police station.

However, Sello was released on bail due to insufficient evidence. Twala accused his sons of stealing his studio equipment worth more than R200 000 from his home in Fourways in Johannesburg while he was out of the country.
