A man was caught attempting to smuggle 104 live snakes through the Hong Kong-Shenzhen border crossing recently. The snakes, of various sizes, shapes, and colors, were concealed in six canvas drawstring bags and sealed with tape inside the man’s trousers.
The suspicious behavior of the individual caught the attention of vigilant customs officers, who promptly inspected him and made the astonishing discovery.
The snakes were packed in translucent plastic bags and were visible wriggling inside.
