The court set December 23 as the next hearing date to allow for further investigations.

During his appearance in court on Monday, Olebogeng chose to abandon his bail application. Gunya confirmed that the case has been postponed to allow investigators more time to gather evidence.
“Olebogeng has been remanded in custody until his next court appearance on December 23,” Gunya said.

“This act of violence is deeply disturbing,” said Kwena. Despite the tragic events, he praised the local community for their assistance, which played a key role in Olebogeng’s swift apprehension.
Kwena also reassured the public that police are committed to ensuring a thorough investigation and a successful prosecution.
Further Investigation Underway
Police and prosecutors are continuing to gather evidence to build a strong case against the accused. The decision to delay proceedings until late December is aimed at ensuring that all aspects of the crime are fully investigated.
As the legal process unfolds, the community remains hopeful that justice will be served for the victims of this devastating crime.
