A man from Chiweshe kills his 2-month-old baby after hitting it with a log while in a domestic fight with his wife. The man is yet to be apprehended and is running away from the authorities.
Man Kills Infant During Domestic Altercation
A devastating incident unfolded on November 24, 2024, in Kodzwa Village, Chiweshe. A two-month-old baby lost her life in a shocking case of domestic violence.
According to reports, the child’s father, identified as 26-year-old Tapiwa Masache, fatally struck the infant with a wooden log during an argument with his wife.

It is alleged that the suspect intended to harm his wife amidst the heated dispute but missed his intended target, tragically hitting the child instead. The baby was rushed to a medical facility in Glendale for urgent treatment. Sadly, medical professionals confirmed her death upon arrival.
Killer father is still at large and investigations in progress
Following the horrific act, Tapiwa Masache fled the scene and is currently evading arrest. The ZRP has launched an extensive manhunt to locate and apprehend the suspect. This heartbreaking case has left the local community in shock and mourning.
