More than 220 water tankers deployed to areas affected by water shortage in Durban

Over two hundred water tankers have been deployed to parts of Durban affected by water outages.

Ethekwini Mayor, Cyril Xaba, says further measures are also in the pipeline to resolve the Umgeni-Uthukela algae crisis.

He’s urged residents to continue using water sparingly as the city works to address the challenges.
