In a tribute to the legendary Zimbabwean musician, TUKU Music is proud to announce the launch of the Oliver Mtukudzi International Festival of the Arts (OMIFA). The festival will take place on September 21-22 at the Pakare Paye Arts Centre in Norton, Zimbabwe.
The OMIFA festival aims to commemorate Mtukudzi’s birthday and honor his remarkable contributions to the arts. As a national hero and one of Africa’s leading musicians, Mtukudzi left an indelible mark on the music industry with his prolific career spanning 66 albums and international recognition.
The two-day festival promises an exciting lineup of events, including live music performances, vibrant dance showcases, stunning art exhibitions, and community events.
