Police conducted a late-night Operation Shanela swoop in Akasia and Soshanguve.
It’s aimed at assisting local police stations reduce crime in that area of Tshwane.
Gauteng Provincial Commissioner Lieutenant General Tommy Mthombeni said 741 suspects were arrested.
“We are making inroads on the ground,” he said.
