Outrage Erupts as Zimbabwe’s Finance Secretary George Guvamatanga Buys 12 Luxury Mansions Worth Millions in South Africa

Zimbabweans have erupted in outrage following reports that George Guvamatanga, the Secretary for Finance and Economic Development, allegedly spent over R30 million acquiring luxurious mansions in South Africa’s wealthiest suburbs.

According to an exposé by TheNewsHawks, Guvamatanga is said to have purchased sprawling mansions in upscale areas of Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban, either individually or through co-ownership and fronting. The properties’ prices range from R720,000 to R6.3 million each.
