South African award-winning radio personality Penny Ntuli set social media abuzz after she revealed that she had turned down a big job offer to stay at Jozi FM.
No doubt the post has since thrust her into top trends thanks to her huge social media following.
After her dramatic Gagasi FM exit earlier this year, she joined Jozi FM and has been winning big with the station.
However, despite her big wins, she often trends for the wrong headlines, from steamy posts to clout chasing.
Taking to social media, the radio host announced that she had received a lucrative gig, which she turned down because she wanted to stay at Jozi FM.
Penny Ntuli praised the station’s chief executive officer for helping her during her woes and settling in with the rest of the station members.
She made it known that she turned down the offer because of the love and exposure she has been receiving from Jozi FM and its listeners.
Penny Ntuli posted, “Hey, Bomzala, I recently just got another Radio Job Offer that’s offering to pay very well.” She added, “I declined the offer. Ngsazozinza a year or 2 kwiJozi FM.”
However, against the posts, fans were quick to accuse her of clout chasing while making it known that she was dramatic.
Others praised her for giving the station flowers. Some mentioned that contracts were confidential, so she might burn her bridges by leaking the news.
Some of her followers warned Penny Ntuli to keep her contracts secret, or she might be cancelled if she always made her contracts public.
Penny Ntuli pulled a shocker in March when she announced her resignation from Gagasi FM. She revealed she was unhappy with the station’s offer to pay her.
Penny Ntuli shared a copy of her resignation letter and the new contract offer she had received from the station.
The new contract offer revealed that Gagasi FM had given her the graveyard show on Sundays between 1:00 and 4:00. The offer was R711 98 per show.
The media personality said that she had “gladly accepted the new show” until she was told she would be paid R2 800 per month.
According to the radio host, her new salary would have been comparable to what she had been paid for the past two years.
