R400 million worth of damage in Nelson Mandela Bay following extreme weather

Extreme weather has also hit Nelson Mandela Bay.

Transport MMC Bradley Murray says the city has suffered extensive damage.

He says the damage is estimated at around R400-million.

“We’ve managed to not lose any lives, we’ve had issues with cars being stranded due to the ocean overtaking the N2,” he said.

“But as a city we stand strong, we are mobilizing every single day.”
