Well-known South African radio presenter and television personality, Thabiso Sikwane has died.
Her death was confirmed by her family on Saturday, 31 August.
“It is with profound sadness to announce the passing of Thabiso whose dedication and passion for Christ, family life, and the media and entertainment industry left an indelible mark on colleagues and audiences alike,” read the statement.
In the statement, her family shared how Thabiso had a positive impact on the industry.
“During her illustrious career in radio and TV, she produced, hosted and covered significant events, shaped narratives and inspired many. We are deeply saddened by this loss and pray her legacy will continue to inspire future generations,” further read the statement.
Thabiso was married to Thato Sikwane, popularly known as DJ Fresh, for 20 years, They got divorced in 2022.
Thabiso’s voice has featured as host on Voice of Soweto, SAFM, PowerFm and a was also a presenter at KayaFm959 on KayaBreakfast.
Details surrounding the memorial service and funeral are yet to be released.
